The Role

An opportunity has become available for a Dental Specialist (Orthodontist) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.

You will

• Provide comprehensive specialist orthodontic oral health care of the highest standard to eligible patients throughout Gold Coast Oral Health Service facilities
• Diagnose and develop treatment plans for complex malocclusions and the co-ordination of multi-disciplinary case management to ensure that treatment is of the highest standard
• Coordinate and participate in the orthodontic diagnostic and treatment for eligible clients throughout Gold Coast Oral Health Service facilities
• Provide specialist orthodontic opinions and advice on cases referred

About you

To be successful in this position you will require:

• Bachelor of Dental Science Degree
• AHPRA Registration
• Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
• Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
• Driver Licence
• Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
• Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Salary

• Permanent part time (hrs negotiable, up to 19 hours per fortnight)
• Base salary ranging from $95.91 - $112.32 per hour
