About the role

Permanent part time opportunity to support clinicians to provide specialist paediatric oral health services to clients of Children's Specialist Oral Health Services (COHS) and ensure that multi-disciplinary specialist team management is provided to patients referred to COHS. Provide effective strategic and operational leadership, direction, management and planning and provision of quality, safe, patient care and co-ordination for the program and activities of COHS and effective representation in Executive (District Executive Group) and Clinical Networks.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Provide strategic analytical and innovative skills in planning and setting the direction for future delivery of client-centred health services in an Oral Health Service or like organisation.
  • Identify and support research opportunities into aspects of oral health care to promote evidence-based practice, with an emphasis on innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Liaise and collaborate with Queensland Childrens Hospital leadership group, as well as broader multidisciplinary teams located at QCH.
  • Effectively develop, implement and manage the program budget and manage human and physical resources at a senior level.
