About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Industrial Maintenance & Detailing Specialist to join our team. This role is important in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and functionality of our workshop, yard, and equipment. You will be responsible for ensuring work areas remain clean, safe, and operational while also assisting in minor industrial tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness around the metal cut off saw, aluminium saw, and welding areas.
• Detail and clean shipping containers, including bio-cleaning refrigerated units following strict documented procedures
• De-sticker and prepare shipping containers for reuse or resale.
• Wash and maintain forklifts, company vehicles, and transportable buildings.
• Hose out and clean the paint bay and general yard areas.
• Assist in steel cutting and support general workshop activities as needed.
• Ensure lunchrooms and toilets are kept clean and tidy.
• Conduct yard maintenance, including brush cutting and general tidying.
• Sweep and maintain workshop floors and pits.
• Strip and reseal vinyl flooring in transportable buildings when required.
• Ensure all bins are emptied and waste is properly disposed of.
• Clean up after subcontractors to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
• Clean and detail buildings (new & returned).
• Hose down slab and clean out pit when done.
• Keep the spoon drain clean.
• Keep joinery bay organized.
• Make sure electrical pits in the workshop are free of foam and other debris.
• Maintain furniture that comes back from hire.
• Wash out gutters above the office.
• Wash office windows (inside and out).
• Assist in moving buildings around the yard if needed.

What We’re Looking For:

• A reliable and hardworking individual who takes pride in maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
• Ability to follow strict bio-cleaning procedures and safety guidelines.
• Previous experience in a similar role (workshop, industrial, or yard maintenance) is an advantage but not essential.
• Physically fit and capable of handling manual Labor tasks.
• A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
