About the Role

We’re looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Maintenance Technician with a passion for customer service and problem-solving. In this role, you’ll work closely with our Group Facilities Manager to maintain properties across the UKO and UME portfolios, ensuring they are always in top condition.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to daily maintenance requests from residents.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on furniture, fixtures, and fittings.
  • Help prepare vacated rooms and buildings for new residents.
  • Inspect properties to ensure they meet high-quality standards.
  • Support and oversee cleaning contractors.
  • Keep records of maintenance tasks and material usage.

What We’re Looking For

  • Maintenance and mechanical skills (electrical knowledge is a plus!).
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Great communication skills – you’ll interact with residents and team members daily.
  • A can-do attitude with the ability to work both independently and in a team.

What You’ll Need

  • A valid driver’s license and your own vehicle (mileage compensation provided).
  • The ability to work across multiple locations.
