About this role:

Our company is looking for full-time based Maintenance Handyperson to work with our Building Manager to deliver general maintenance and handyman services across our prestigious beachfront residential hi-rise project.

You will join a small but dynamic team who excel at responding in a timely manner to all general maintenance requests to deliver the highest level of care and maintenance that is expected within a luxury property. Your roster will include weekends and public holidays.

Key responsibilities:

• Assist with routine inspections of the common property.
• Diagnose works required.
• Be able to complete minor repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Be able to complete basic patching and painting tasks.
• Conduct basic gardening / grounds keeping requirements on an as needed basis.
• Assist on site contractors when necessary.
• Have a general understanding of on-site machines and equipment.
• Attention and care shown at all times to the building, gardens, grounds and residential common areas.
• Assist with after hour’s emergencies occasionally.
• Demonstrate an understanding of what makes a safe workplace practise and ensure Company policies on Occupations Health & Safety are always followed.
• Ensure compliancy of the Emergency, Fire & Evacuation procedures are enforced.
• Compiling of basic administration documentation and data entry into property management software.
• Always represent the Company in a professional manner.
• All aspects of residential landscape and pool including planting, re-turfing, irrigation, paving, low voltage lighting, et
• All aspects of lawn and garden maintenance including mowing, edging, hedge trimming, pruning, weeding, fertilising, pest and disease control, etc.

Selection criteria:

• Over 3 year’s previous experience preferably in high end luxury accommodation.
• Previous experience with completing basic plastering and paint repairs preferred but not essential.
• Experience performing routine maintenance.
• Eye for detail.
• Professional presentation and attitude and being able to conduct yourself in a manner befitting a world class property.
• Ability to maintain focus while working individually.
• Sound computer skills.
• Proven experience in landscaping, hardscaping, and softscaping.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with property management software including MyBos is preferred but not essential.
• Cert III in Landscape Construction or relevant qualification (preferred)

Remuneration package will be offered to the successful applicant based on skills and experience.
