Medical Receptionist

We are seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist to become a valued part of our professional team. As the first point of contact, your role ensures an efficient and professional experience for both our patients and clinical partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reception duties: answering phones, responding to patient enquiries, booking appointments, scanning, filing, email correspondence and organisation etc.
• Management of cardiac investigations
• Scheduling appointments and diary management
• Liaising with patients regarding confirmation of appointments, fees and preparation required for investigations
• Management of patient and clinical enquiries
• Maintaining incoming correspondence and referrals via Medical Objects, email and fax
• Sending appointment reminder notifications via SMS/clinic to cloud
• Liaising with medical and third-party providers
• Preparation of clinic for cardiac testing and consultation
• Blood Pressure Monitor and Holter Monitor preparation, management and data uploading ( Training will be provided ).

Attributes required:

• Minimum 2-year experience as a Medical Receptionist is desirable
• Experience with Clinic to Cloud platform is desirable
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Highly organised, able to multitask and prioritise workload under pressure
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
• Attention to detail
• Current Drivers License and own transport (travel to multiple locations required)
• Available to work during the hours 8:00-5.00 Monday – Friday
