We are currently recruiting for a leading Australian provider of innovative and secure payment solutions. Specializing in tailored payment processing services, this company partners with businesses across SME, Enterprise, Education, and Childcare sectors. We are looking for a highly motivated Account Manager to join their Melbourne team and drive business growth while earning significant rewards.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing partners in the SME, Enterprise, Education, and Childcare sectors to sell and support payment solutions.
- Sales Strategy: Proactively identify new opportunities for service expansion and revenue growth within your assigned portfolio.
- Client Support: Provide exceptional service, ensuring clients' payment processes are optimized and tailored to their specific needs.
- Account Management: Oversee client accounts, ensuring high levels of satisfaction, retention, and continued growth by addressing concerns and providing ongoing support.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Experience Required:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Sales & Account Management Experience: Proven track record in account management or business development, within the Fintech Industry is a must - ideally this will be selling payment software with a focus on large scale direct debit solutions
- Sector Knowledge: Experience with the SME, Education, Childcare, or Enterprise sectors from a Fintech background & subsequently; pre-existing relationships that you can leverage upon.
- Customer-Focused: Strong communication skills and a genuine desire to help clients optimize their payment solutions.
- Self-Motivated: Results-driven with the ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet sales goals.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base Salary: $120K - $140K + Super - this is dependant upon your level of experience within Fintech as well as what level of relationships you can leverage upon if successful
- Car Allowance: $15K per year
- Uncapped Commission: The commission structure is lucrative, with a total OTE of $200K+
