Position: Medical Receptionist

Location: Bundaberg

Pay Rate: $35-$40/hr + super

Employment Type: Contract position, Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week

Duration: Possibility of going permanent

Maxima is currently seeking highly motivated individual for Medical Receptionist for one of our clients in Bundy.

We are seeking a reliable and professional Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare client. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing patient appointments, answering phone calls, processing patient information and assisting with day-to-day administrative duties to ensure the smooth running of the medical practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
• Schedule and manage patient appointments, ensuring optimal use of resources.
• Handle patient inquiries via phone and email, providing accurate information.
• Maintain and update patient records in accordance with confidentiality guidelines.
• Process billing and insurance claims, as required.
• Assist healthcare professionals with administrative tasks.
• Ensure the reception area is well-maintained and organized.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a medical receptionist or administrative role (preferred).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in using office equipment and medical software
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
