The Opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Officer to support our design, engineering, and field services operations. This key role is responsible for sourcing materials, managing supplier relationships, overseeing goods receival, and maintaining stock levels to ensure seamless project execution.

A broad technical understanding of various trades is beneficial, as you will be procuring equipment, components, and materials across multiple disciplines. The role requires coordination with both engineering, operations management and field teams to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement. Additionally, you will be responsible for inventory control, tracking deliveries, and optimizing stock management to prevent shortages or delays.

This position also offers an opportunity to be actively involved in a complete procurement systems review, supporting the company's commitment to continuous improvement, process optimization, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Procurement of materials, tools, and equipment for engineering and field services.
• Technical awareness across multiple trades to support informed purchasing decisions.
• Supplier management, including negotiations and maintaining strong vendor relationships.
• Budget awareness and cost allocation, ensuring procurement decisions align with financial objectives and project budgets
• Goods receival—checking shipments for accuracy and coordinating with project teams.
• Stock management, ensuring materials are available when needed while minimizing excess inventory.
• Process improvement, contributing to a review and enhancement of procurement systems
