A rapidly expanding technology business is seeking an Interim Financial Controller to provide leadership during a critical growth phase. This role will oversee financial operations, drive process improvements, and support strategic M&A initiatives, offering a rare opportunity to make a tangible impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial & Management Reporting – Lead and refine all financial reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Billing System Implementation – Assess current billing operations and spearhead the rollout of a new, more effective system.
• M&A Support – Partner with the CFO to provide financial insights, due diligence, and strategic input on acquisition opportunities.

Ideal Candidate:

• CA/CPA qualified with a strong technical accounting foundation (ASX experience preferred).
• Experienced in fast-paced, high-growth environments, ideally within the technology sector.
• A commercially minded problem-solver with a track record of process improvement and efficiency gains.
• Hands-on and detail-oriented, while also comfortable with big-picture strategic initiatives.
• Experience with NetSuite is highly desirable.

Contract Details:

Duration: 6 months, with the potential to extend.
Remuneration: $180K + Super (Pro Rata).
Location: Sydney-based | Hybrid flexibility.
