Over the past few years, the company has experienced growth and is now seeking a seasoned Financial Controller to join their dynamic team. This role is pivotal in maintaining the financial health of the organisation and supporting its strategic objectives.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance leadership, with a proven track record of stakeholder management and strategic planning.

About the role-

• Review financial statements and management reports, ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards.
• Oversee the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, and review and analyse monthly operating results against budget.
• Implementing and maintaining robust internal control systems to safeguard the company's assets and ensure financial integrity.
• Manage the operations of the accounting department, including the design of organisational structure.
• Providing strategic financial insights and recommendations to support business growth and decision-making processes.
• Leading and mentoring the finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

About you-

• CA or CPA qualified (or equivalent) with between 8 -10+ years' experience in a similar role will be advantageous.
• Relevant and industry-based experience will be desirable.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and practices.
• Strong leadership and team management skills to mentor and develop finance staff.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as SAP and advanced Excel skills will be advantageous.
