An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Interim Financial Controller to support a growing technology business during a pivotal phase of expansion. This role will provide leadership in financial and management reporting while driving critical process improvements and supporting strategic M&A initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial & Management Reporting – Enhance and oversee all BAU financial reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Billing System Implementation – Conduct a comprehensive review of the current billing process and lead the implementation of a new, more effective system.
• M&A Support – Work closely with the CFO to provide financial insights, due diligence, and strategic support as the business evaluates acquisition opportunities.

Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will be:

• CA qualified with a strong technical accounting background (ASX experience preferred).
• Experienced in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, preferably within the technology sector.
• Commercially astute with the ability to drive process improvements and efficiencies.
• Experience with NetSuite highly advantageous.
• Comfortable being hands-on and detail-oriented, while also contributing to strategic initiatives.

Contract Details

• Duration: 6 months with the potential for extension.
• Remuneration: $180K + Super (Pro Rata).
• Location: Sydney-based with hybrid flexibility.
