We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Events & Marketing Assistant to become an integral part of our team. In this multifaceted role, you will actively contribute to the planning, promotion, and seamless delivery of a variety of exciting events and innovative marketing initiatives, working closely with and supporting the Event and Marketing Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with the coordination and execution of a diverse range of events, including golf tournaments, weddings, corporate functions and community activities
• Support marketing in developing and implementing effective promotional campaigns to drive all aspects of club happenings
• Help manage the club's social media platforms to engage with guests, members and the local community
• Liaise with suppliers, vendors, internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless event and advertising delivery
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of event and marketing processes
• Provide outstanding customer service to members and guests
• Undertake other duties within the club on a regular basis (reception, bar and restaurant)
• This is not just an admin job, you will be expected to work on and set up events, get out on course and capture content and no two days will be the same

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in events and/or marketing, preferably within the hospitality, sports or leisure industry
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
• Creativity and a passion for delivering exceptional experiences and an eye for detail
• Proficient in using social media and digital marketing tools and platforms
• A flexible and adaptable approach to work, with the willingness to work evenings, mornings and weekends as required
• Strong administration background
• Highly desirable if you have skills in photography, videography, editing and graphic design
• Must have RSA, RCG and drivers license or willing to obtain before employment
