We are looking for a creative and organised Marketing and Events Coordinator to help promote our programs and organise events that foster community engagement and build lasting relationships with families.

Job Overview:

The Marketing and Events Coordinator will play a crucial role in promoting our childcare and kindergarten service through targeted marketing initiatives and community-centered events. This individual will work closely with parents, staff, and local businesses to ensure a vibrant and welcoming environment for families. The ideal candidate is passionate about early childhood education and has experience in event planning, marketing, and communication.

Key Responsibilities:

Event Planning and Coordination:

  • Organise and execute events for children, parents, and the community, such as open houses, parent-teacher meetings, seasonal celebrations, and fundraising events.
  • Manage all event logistics including venue coordination, decorations, catering, activity planning, and coordination of volunteers.
  • Foster a welcoming environment during events, engaging with parents and children and ensuring a positive experience.
  • Coordinate educational workshops and activities that enhance the learning environment for both children and their families.

Marketing Campaigns:

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote childcare and kindergarten services to local families.
  • Create engaging content for online platforms (social media, website, email newsletters) to showcase events, classroom activities, and student accomplishments.
  • Create print materials, flyers, and newsletters to share program updates and important events with parents and the local community.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and provide recommendations for future improvements.

Community Engagement:

  • Build strong relationships with local organisations, schools, and businesses to increase brand awareness and community involvement.
  • Foster an environment where parents are encouraged to engage in the school community through volunteer opportunities and event participation.
  • Manage social media accounts, ensuring consistent communication and interaction with current and prospective families.

Branding and Promotion:

  • Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all marketing materials and event promotions.
  • Develop promotional campaigns that emphasize the unique qualities of the childcare and kindergarten programs.
  • Highlight the educational achievements and milestones of the children and staff to build a positive community image.

Event Evaluation and Reporting:

  • Gather feedback from parents and participants to evaluate the success of events and marketing campaigns.
  • Provide reports on event outcomes, community impact, and marketing performance to guide future strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Early Childhood Education, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in marketing, event planning, or community outreach (preferably in education or childcare settings).
  • Passion for early childhood education and creating positive experiences for children and families.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, social media platforms, and digital marketing tools (e.g., Canva, MailChimp).
  • Experience managing social media accounts and creating engaging content.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with early childhood development principles is a plus.
