This position offers an opportunity to join our MATE customer service team, where you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer support. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting customers by responding to enquiries through phone, live chat, and ticketing systems.

These enquiries may involve account-related matters, such as billing, plan changes, and account management, as well as technical support for the services we offer, those being NBN, Mobile and VoIP.

As a customer service representative, you will be expected to provide clear, accurate, and timely assistance while ensuring a positive customer experience is delivered.

You will work collaboratively with team members to resolve issues efficiently and escalate complex matters when necessary.

This role requires strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a customer-focused approach to ensure high levels of satisfaction and support excellence.

Operational Hours: This role has a rotating roster with shifts as follows:

  • You will be scheduled to work 40 hours per week.
  • Including five 8-hour shifts that are rostered and commence between:
  • Monday to Friday - (between) 8:30 AM and 11:30 AM
  • Saturday to Sunday - 9:00 AM
  • This is a rotating roster, you'll be allocated shift days and start times a month in advance.

  • Previous Experience: Prior experience in a call center environment is an advantage.
  • Previous Technical Support Experience: Is highly valued, though comprehensive training will be provided.
