We are a seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Team Leader to join our high-volume sales call centre. This role is suited to an energetic leader with a passion for coaching, motivating, and driving a team to exceed sales targets. You will lead from the front, creating a high performance culture through hands on support, training, and strategic leadership.

The role
- Lead by example and be visible on the sales floor, providing hands on coaching and support.
- Motivate and develop the team through various methods such as daily meetings, role playing exercises, and performance coaching.
- Create individualised training plans for team members to enhance the sales competence and confidence of team members.
- Assist with recruitment of new employees and ensure appropriate inductions and training
- Conduct weekly check ins with team members to review statistics, call volumes, results, and address concerns and challenges.
- Provide structured training to enhance skills through script training, objection handling, and closing techniques.
- Identify areas of improvement, provide feedback and encouragement to help team members overcome challenges and further develop their skills.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to review workflow processes and suggest efficiency improvements and cost minimisation.
- Provide weekly reports and updates on individual and team sales performance.
- Communicate effectively with other departments within the organisation, to ensure sales and installation targets are achieved.
About You:
- 2+ years’ experience in successfully leading a sales team in a fast-paced call centre environment.
- 5+ years experience in a call centre sales environment.
- Demonstrated success coaching and mentoring staff.
- Experience in compiling reports and analysing team results as a decision-making tool.
- Must have Full Work Rights in Australia.
- Competency in building capability within a sales team.
- Proficiency in MS Office products, especially Excel, and CRM databases.
