A great opportunity for an experienced Fraud Investigator to join this busy team for a 12-month temporary assignment.
About the role:
- Utilising a Certificate IV in Government Investigations, or its equivalent to support complex and sensitive criminal investigation activities in accordance with NDIA processes and the Australian Government Investigation Standards.
- Conducting interviews, preparing statements and affidavits, collecting, securing and managing evidential material and confidential information.
- Assisting with the preparation of cases and briefs of evidence for referral to relevant parties such as the Australian Federal Police and Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions.
- Representing the NDIA and giving evidence in criminal and civil courts.
- Analysing, processing information and producing accurate and informative reports.
- Conducting criminal investigation activities in accordance with the Agency processes and the Australian Government Investigation Standards.
- Contributing to changes in workplace practices and process improvements.
- Assisting with the execution of search warrants, which may require domestic air travel and working extended hours including overnight stays.
About you:
- You will have high level interpersonal skills.
- You will have ability to work in a team environment and autonomously.
- You will have ability to analyse and process information to produce accurate and informative reports.
- You will have ability to use computer/software applications including Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel.
- You will have ability to analyse various forms of information to form a conclusion.
- You will have attention to detail in written and verbal communication.
- You will have Fraud Intelligence and or regulatory experience
- You will have experience having lead a successful prosecution case in criminal court.

- Full time hours Monday to Friday
- Sydney Locations + hybrid working from home options.
- $55.24 per hour + Super
