About us:

Reporting directly to the Executive Director Workforce, the Principal Investigator will be responsible for leading and managing internal investigations regarding suspected corrupt conduct and misconduct in strict accordance with legislative obligations outlined in, but not limited to:

  • Crime and Corruption Act 2001
  • Public Interest Disclosure Act 2010
  • Medicines and Poisons (Medicines) Regulation 2021
  • Medicines and Poisons Act 2019
  • Hospital and Health Boards Act 2011
  • Public Sector Act 2022
About the role:
  • Conduct high level, complex and sensitive investigations of suspected corrupt conduct and misconduct in an impartial manner.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute complex investigations in accordance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
  • Manage multiple investigations simultaneously, setting priorities and deadlines to achieve timely outcomes.
  • Keep abreast of legislative updates, policy changes, and emerging trends that impact investigation practices.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of best-practice frameworks, ensuring continuous improvement in investigative methodology.
About you:
  • Investigative experience with law enforcement, workplace investigations or regulatory compliance is essential. Possession of tertiary qualifications is not required but is desirable. Possession of a Certificate IV in Investigations or similar is also considered highly desirable.
What we offer:

Total remuneration value of up to $166,569 is comprised of:

  • An hourly rate between $68.60 - $73.62 p.h.
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
  • 17.5% leave loading
