About the role

McCarrs House (Formerly Berkelo Kitchen), a seasonally driven and produce passionate restaurant set amongst the trees in Terrey Hills NSW, is seeking a talented Front of House professional to join our growing team. As a Front of House team member, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hospitality and ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant.

What you'll be doing

• Greeting and welcoming guest with warm hospitality
• Taking food and beverage orders in a timely and efficient manner
• Providing recommendations on our menu, wines and daily specials
• Serving food and drinks to customers with care and attention to detail
• Handling cash and payment transactions
• Maintaining a clean and organised front-of-house environment
• Assisting with other duties as required to support the team

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a front-of-house or customer service role within the hospitality industry
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Solutions oriented
• Friendly, positive and customer-focused attitude
• Knowledge of food and beverage service standards
• Excellent time management and multitasking skills
• Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences
• Knowledge of wine preferable
