About the role

Reporting to the CFO, this full-time Bookkeeper/Admin Assistant role at YardWorx Equipment is based in Caboolture, QLD. You will be responsible for providing high-quality administrative and accounting support to the organisation, ensuring accurate financial records and efficient day-to-day office operations.

What you'll be doing

• process daily bank transactions in a timely manner,
• process operating expenses and credit card transactions,
• reconcile payables and receivables,
• ensure timely payment of creditors,
• respond to customer enquiries,
• follow up with customers on outstanding debts.

• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing, supplier payments and customer invoicing
• Maintain general ledger and reconcile bank accounts
• Prepare financial reports, BAS and other regulatory documents
• Provide administrative support, including data entry, filing, and responding to customer/supplier inquiries
• Assist with payroll processing and employee-related documentation
• Assist with daily cash up processes and banking.
• Provide administrative support such as filing, scanning, receiving in stock, assisting with stock takes and other clerical tasks
• Complete Warranty Registrations and Process Warranty Claims
• Manage incoming phone calls, emails, and written correspondence in a professional and courteous manner

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a similar bookkeeping/administrative role, ideally within a small to medium-sized business
• Strong working knowledge of accounting software (Xero) and MS Office suite
• Excellent attention to detail and numeracy skills to ensure accuracy in financial records
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
