Are you an experienced business development professional with established hospital networks? Do you have strong connections with discharge planners, liaison officers, and social workers? About the Organisation:
Since 2020, this organisation has grown significantly, expanding from emergency accommodation to delivering a full range of NDIS support services, including Supported Independent Living, In-Home Support, Community Access, and Community Nursing. Operating across Queensland and Victoria, their mission is to empower participants by providing high-quality, person-centred care.
As they continue to scale, they are seeking a strategic and well-connected Business Development Manager to strengthen relationships with hospital discharge teams and referral pathways, ensuring smooth transitions for NDIS participants into appropriate care.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the Business Growth Manager, you will take the lead in developing and executing strategies to grow the organisation’s presence within hospitals. Your primary focus will be on building and nurturing relationships with hospital-based stakeholders to drive referrals and expand service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Expand hospital partnerships by engaging with discharge planners, social workers, and liaison officers.
- Identify new referral pathways within hospitals to increase participant intake.
- Develop and execute business growth strategies focused on hospital networks.
- Strengthen existing NDIS and healthcare partnerships to drive service expansion.
- Represent the organisation at hospital meetings, industry events, and networking opportunities.
- Monitor market trends and healthcare sector developments to identify growth opportunities.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless transitions for participants from hospital to ongoing support services.
- Provide regular reporting and insights to senior management on business development performance.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Established hospital networks – Proven connections with discharge planners, social workers, and hospital liaison officers.
- Business development experience – At least 2-3 years in a similar role within NDIS, disability, aged care, or healthcare.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills – Ability to build trust and long-term partnerships within hospital settings.
- Strategic mindset – Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities and drive business growth.
- Knowledge of NDIS & healthcare sector – Strong understanding of NDIS service delivery, compliance, and referral pathways.
- Excellent communication & negotiation skills – Ability to liaise with hospital teams, industry professionals, and internal stakeholders.
- Current Driver’s Licence and the ability to travel as required
