The Client
Our client is a well-respected professional services firm located in the heart of Brisbane. On the hunt for their next Personal Assistant to support the Managing Director, they're seeking a confident all-rounder to manage a wide variety of tasks whilst working to multiple deadlines.

The Role

  • Provide EA support to the Accounting and Tax Partner
  • Oversee client onboarding, including obtaining ethical clearance from previous accountants
  • Finalize proposals, engagement letters, and advisory documents
  • Coordinate tax return lodgment program, including reporting and ATO submissions
  • Set up new client jobs for annual compliance tasks
  • Compile client tax packages (financial statements and tax returns)
  • Communicate with clients to obtain signed documents and manage inquiries
  • Schedule appointments and meetings for the Accounting & Tax Partner and team
  • Maintain accurate client records and follow up on outstanding information/payments
  • Assist with billing and invoicing processes
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory deadlines and requirements
  • Provide general administrative support to the tax team
  • Respond to client emails and calls promptly
  • Update processes and procedures, manage incoming mail
  • Lodge corporate secretarial documents with ASIC

Skills & Experience

  • 2-4 years of experience in a similar position
  • Positive, proactive attitude
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and perform effectively under pressure
  • Capable of working independently while collaborating efficiently with the Administration Team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships both internally and externally
  • High level of confidentiality and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of Xero and ASIC software is highly regarded
