The Company:
This position is being recruited for a widely recognised, company specialising in Renewable Power Generation Solutions. Providing solutions into the hire and rental industry, especially within major infrastructure.
As part of a larger company founded over 20 years ago, this new venture is seeking to embed itself within the infrastructure, wet and dry hire, landscaping and construction markets by creating market leading products to satisfy every possible requirement for uninterrupted renewable power.
The Position:
As the Engineering, Production and Supply Chain Planner based between the two Sydney offices, in the Northern Suburbs, this position is primarily responsible for managing the production of materials, parts and products sourced in Asia.
On any given day your duties will involve:
- Managing Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Design and Production of products and materials from China and Vietnam
- Liaising with suppliers to counter problems and monitor supply chain and delivery
- Work with inventory team to monitor stock levels
- Work with Production and Design Teams to ensure correct sourcing
- Ensure supplier compliance with quality standards
- Negotiate favorable terms with new and existing suppliers
The Package:
For the successful candidate the client is able to offer the following package:
- A base salary of between $80k pa - $120k pa + Superannuation + Company Bonuses - depending on experience
- Corporate expense account for interstate and overseas travel
The Candidate:
To be considered for this role it is essential that candidates have the following:
- Good written and spoken Mandarin
- Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or a related field
- Knowledge of SAP, Oracle and import/export regulations
- Ability to understand technical drawings and information
- Be available for overseas travel to Asia - roughly 4 times per year
- Be an Australian Permanent Resident
The ideal candidate would also have the following attributes:
- Strategic thinking
- Any experience with solar, batteries and inverters would be advantageous
- Strong negotiation, conflict resolution and manufacturing experience
- Experience dealing with external and internal stakeholders
