They’re looking for a Safety Advisor to join the team and provide effective safety leadership across our operations in Mackay and Emerald, Queensland. What You'll Be Doing:

• Leading and driving safety performance and continuous improvement across the company
• Collaborating with operations to implement Health & Safety Management System and site-specific safety plans
• Assisting with incident investigations, non-conformances, and near misses
• Providing high-quality HSE technical advice and support to the business
• Facilitating, participating in, and monitoring internal inspections
• Regular travel (fortnightly) between job sites in Mackay and Emerald

What We're Looking For:

• Cert IV WHS (or higher)
• First Aid certification
• Experience with workshop operations and manufacturing practices
• Root Cause Analysis qualifications (ICAM, Taproot, etc.) - highly regarded
• Risk Facilitator - G2 qualification – highly regarded
• Experience in drug and alcohol testing, noise monitoring, and chemical/hazardous materials management is highly regarded
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude
• Open to change and passionate about innovation in safety practices
