A fantastic opportunity for a Safety Business Partner who enjoys working within the Health and Safety systems, policies and procedures space while partnering with leaders to implement fit-for-purpose Health and Safety programs.

About the Opportunity

• Build and maintain effective relationships with key internal stakeholders across Group operational areas and external stakeholders to ensure a safe working environment.
• Assist in the implementation of health and safety systems, policies and practices and undertaking related consultation with the operational stakeholders.
• Implement and maintain safety management systems and audit programs in accordance with requirements outlined in ISO 45001 requirements.
• Conduct safety inspections, site risk assessments, review and maintain SWMS, SOP library, and chemical register.
• Assist in the design and delivery of safety training programs to up-skill staff and managers with safety knowledge, risk assessment and hazard management.
• Support the design, development and implementation of projects and activities focused on holistic wellbeing and enhancing safety culture.
• Advise and support health and safety committees and representatives for specific portfolios.

Skills and Experience

To be considered for this role, you will be an experienced and qualified HSEQ / Safety and Wellbeing Advisor, with the following:

• Certificate IV (minimum) or Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety.
• Solid experience in a relevant health and safety role with exposure to ISO 45001.
• Demonstrated application of health and safety legislation, standards, and codes of practice in an operational environment.
• Demonstrated experience engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
