The Opportunity
Ready to help make East Gippsland shine? As a Parks and Gardens Leading Hand, you’ll keep our parks, playgrounds, reserves, and roadside vegetation looking fantastic. You’ll maintain and inspect our community spaces while keeping accurate records of your work. You'll also assist with minor equipment servicing and lead a small team.
This is a permanent full-time position based from our Bruce Road depot, with travel within Bairnsdale and surrounding suburbs.
What we’re looking for:
- Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills
- Able to work independently, flexible with hours/locations.
- Physically able to perform the duties of the role.Required Qualifications:
- Cert III or higher in Horticulture
- Experience in traffic management
- Horticultural chemical use experience.
- A current Victorian Driver’s Licence ‘MR’ Truck as a minimum.
If successful, you will need to undertake a police check and pre-employment medical check. You must also be legally entitled to work in Australia.
