About the role
A great opportunity for an Accounts Payable Team Lead and/or Supervisor to join a highly successful business based Homebush. The role will involve managing a team and driving success within a collaborative, supportive and high-performing team.

Our client is open to candidates who are available immediately or who have 2-weeks notice periods. They are also open to AP Officers who are looking to step up into a Team Lead role.

The Responsibilities

• Leading a team of 18 Accounts Payable Officers, reporting to the AP Manager
• Managing the overall accounts payable function
• Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders (internally and externally)
• Mentoring and developing team performance
• Liaising with suppliers and performing month-end reconciliations
• GL coding, payment execution and journaling.
• Driving process improvement within the accounts payable function

The successful applicant will have:

• Experience in a similar accounts payable leadership/team lead position
• Ideally previous experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or another large ERP system
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong month-end and year-end reporting experience
• Experience with process improvement and driving change.
• Proficiency in excel
