What your typical day will look like:
As the Team Lead - House Payables, you will oversee the House Payables team in managing all corporate and non-media payables. You will be the go-to person for Concur expenses and internal approval chains, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all payment processes.
Additionally, you will play a key role in fostering collaboration between onshore and offshore teams while driving operational improvements.
Core responsibilities include:
- Oversee and manage all corporate and non-media payables, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal controls (JSOX).
- Manage the offshore House Payables team, providing leadership, training, and support to drive efficiency and accuracy in payment processing.
- Act as the primary point of contact for Concur expenses, Credit Cards, and Internal Approvals (Coupa), handling approvals, process improvements, and business queries.
- Ensure accurate vendor onboarding, payment processing, and reconciliation of transactions across Coupa, D365, Workbook, and Spectre PF.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and auditors to support financial reporting, variance analysis, and compliance audits.
- Support the finance team with cash flow forecasting and reporting to ensure optimal financial planning.
- Work closely with IT and finance teams to ensure systems are optimized for accuracy and efficiency in payables processing.
A bit about you:
- Extensive experience in accounts payable, financial operations, or accounting, with a strong understanding of compliance, reporting, and process improvements.
- Proven ability to lead and manage offshore teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment with business objectives.
- Exceptional relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and engage with vendors and auditors effectively.
- Proficiency in financial systems such as Coupa, D365, Workbook, Spectre PF, and Concur Expenses.
- Strong knowledge of JSOX compliance, internal financial controls, and payment processing workflows.
- Advanced analytical skills with experience in financial reporting, reconciliation, and cash flow management.
- Strong problem-solving mindset with a track record of driving operational efficiencies and system enhancements.
