In this pivotal role, you’ll provide expert support to stakeholders and a diverse workforce, with a strong focus on employee relations and a broad range of HR functions to drive best practices.
The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in a blue-collar manufacturing environment (or similar), demonstrating confidence in decision-making, exceptional organisational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting stakeholders across multiple locations on HR issues, including employee relations, performance, conduct, leadership, awards, enterprise bargaining agreements and diversity and inclusion
- Coaching and empowering leaders to cultivate and sustain a positive workplace culture.
- Overseeing the onboarding and induction process to ensure a seamless transition for new employees.
- Coaching and supporting managers in performance planning and professional development initiatives
- Identifying training needs and coordinating with the training department as necessary.
- Managing HR administrative tasks efficiently to support overall business operations
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Proven experience as a HR Officer / HR administrator within a large operational environment and supporting a diverse workforce
- Ability to work autonomously whilst contributing to the success of the larger HR team
- Knowledge of employee relations, enterprise agreements, policies and procedures with excellent influencing and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and relationship management skills
