Founded in 1998, TW Group was founded by logistics professionals who wanted to offer a superior product transfer experience. Working with the Country Manager, you will be supporting the business' exciting new chapter as they set up the group's Australian branch, and will be playing a vital role in the ongoing success of the business. This role is suited to an HR professional looking to grow their career!

About the role:

  • Full-time, permanent position
  • Training and induction based in Melbourne, role based in Sydney
  • Salary circa $90-100K + super
  • Work for a global logistics company with 42 hubs worldwide

About you:

  • Formal qualifications in Human Resources with experience in industrial relations
  • Minimum of five years' experience in a similar role
  • Background in logistics and distribution highly advantageous
  • Experience in interacting with labor unions
  • Sound understanding of occupational risk prevention and management
  • Strong people management skills
  • Implementation or Project Management experience highly regarded
  • Multilingual skills highly regarded: Spanish skills will be a great asset
  • Permanent resident or citizen of Australia

What you'll be doing:

  • Ensuring personnel management and administration is up to date (contracts, timesheets, leave management, OHS procedures).
  • Payroll
  • HR Support - facilitating professional development, 360 recruitment, workforce planning
  • Health and safety - ensuring that safety regulations and compliances are met, chain of responsibility requirements adhered to, monitoring safety incidents, hazards and developing prevention plans.
  • Operational support - liaising with union delegates and attending union meetings where appropriate, working with the legal team to review, manage and follow up any litigation, work with management on developing procedural processes and any other operational support required by the business
