About Amberfield
LDK Seniors' Living’s newest premium village, Amberfield, is located on Cotter Road in Weston, in Canberra’s inner south. It is a short driving distance to Yarralumla, Curtin and Woden town centre. Amberfield will feature 370+ homes, comprising of apartments, sky villas, and villas. About the Role
We are seeking a HR generalist who will provide guidance and support to our team and contractors based at our Amberfield Village. This role will report directly to the Village General Manager with support from our corporate People and Culture Team.
Role Responsibilities:
- Managing recruitment and selection for village-based roles
- Providing guidance on industrial and employee relations matters
- Working closely with managers to lead engaged and high performing teams
- Facilitating workplace injury management
- Ensuring a positive employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle

Qualifications, Experience and Skills
- 3+ years of demonstrated experience as a HR generalist.
- Sound understanding of contemporary HR practices and application of HR processes within the employment cycle from recruitment and selection, on-boarding, induction, training and support, and exiting employees.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrated experience in the interpretation and application of relevant legislation, standards and Awards and the National Employment Standards
- The ability to work independently and interpret industrial relations instruments and provide advice accordingly.
- Strong planning and organisational skills, and an ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines.
