About the role

Come and join the team at Dr Angelo Preketes' Dentistry in the heart of Sydney! We are seeking a part-time Dental Assistant to support our experienced dentist in providing exceptional dental care to our patients. In this role, you will be an integral part of our patient-focused practice, ensuring a smooth and comfortable experience for all who visit us.

What you'll be doing

• Assist during examinations and procedures
• Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
• Greet patients, update patient records, and schedule appointments
• Provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming environment for all our patients
• Ensure the dental surgery is clean, organised and well-stocked
• Undertake any other duties as required to support the smooth operation of the practice

What we're looking for

• A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Dental Assistant is advantageous
• Knowledge of dental procedures, sterilisation protocols, and dental equipment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to put patients at ease
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• A friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude
• Certificate III in Dental Assisting advantageous, however, not essential.
