Major Functions of the role include (but not limited to):

  • Manage the entire production schedule and work order process through ERP systems for the production department.
  • Review and action production order material shortages, maintaining communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure materials for production are released and available.
  • Work with supply chain team and provide supply forecasts to generate purchase orders and communicate with necessary external stakeholder.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Workshop, Customer Service and Operations team to ensure alignment on production schedules and priorities, labor optimization, machine utilization, and maintenance of capacity plans.
  • Adjust and communicate schedules to accommodate changes in demand, supply chain disruptions, or unforeseen delays.
  • Expedite and monitor deliveries to ensure on-time arrival and customer satisfaction
  • Ensuring that health and safety guidelines are followed, and legal obligations are met.
  • Ensure that processes required for the Quality Management System are maintained.
  • Manage inventory and stock levels across all products.
  • Assess and manage processes to continuously improve on just-in-time lean manufacturing, quality, and productivity.
  • Being responsible for the selection and maintenance of equipment.
  • Contribute to short- and long-term organizational planning and strategy as part of the management team.

What we're looking for

  • Manage detailed Production Plan and chair the Supply Review for the site
  • Work closely with Manufacturing teams to coordinate daily production schedule
  • Daily reporting and root cause analysis of issues, escalation of relevant issues
  • Responsible for communicating to key stakeholders (Demand, Materials, Operations and Logistics) any changes to plan
  • Maintenance of relevant Master Data to support the supply planning process
