We're seeking a talented CAD Draughtsman & Production Planner to be a key player in our operations. This role blends technical design with production coordination, demanding a versatile individual who can bridge the gap between concept and creation. You'll work closely with our fabrication, CNC engineering, and sales teams, ensuring seamless project execution.

Role Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD Inventor.
• Maintain precise technical documentation.
• Utilise Autodesk Vault for effective data management and version control.
• Create compelling renderings for sales and marketing purposes.
• Knowledge of Solidworks would be favourable.

• Collaborate with fabrication and CNC engineering teams to optimise production flow.
• Develop and manage efficient production schedules.
• Proactively identify and resolve potential production bottlenecks.
• Ensure accurate material procurement and inventory control.

• Provide technical expertise to the sales team, generating drawings and specifications for proposals.
• Address technical enquiries from customers and sales representatives.
• Assist in the creation of impactful product presentations and demonstrations.

• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Adhere to strict company safety and quality standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Report directly to the General Manager.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Demonstrated experience as a CAD Draughtsman, ideally within a manufacturing setting.
• High proficiency in AutoCAD Inventor, Autodesk Vault, and rendering software.
• Solid understanding of fabrication and CNC machining processes.
• Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Proven problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
• Ability to interpret and understand technical drawings and specifications.
• Experience in production planning and scheduling.
• Experience liaising with sales teams.
