Production Planner

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Production Planner to join our client’s dynamic team within the pharmaceutical industry. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with production and supply chain teams to ensure the efficient planning and execution of production schedules. Your expertise will be critical in achieving operational excellence and meeting customer demands.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer requirements and inventory levels
• Collaborate with production, logistics, and procurement teams to identify and resolve issues
• Monitor production performance and make adjustments as necessary to improve efficiency
• Analyse demand forecasts and align production capacities accordingly
• Prepare detailed reports and present them to management as needed

Requirements:
• Previous experience as a Production Planner in a GMP regulated environment e.g. pharmaceutical, medical device or healthcare sectors.
• Proficiency in enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, inventory management software, and advanced Excel skills.
• Proficient in planning and scheduling software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• An interest or passion for pharmaceuticals and regulated therapeutics is highly regarded.
