We are currently seeking applications for facilitators for our Free2b Girls groups based in Longford (Tuesdays) and Campbell Town (Wednesdays). This may be 2 positions, or 1 person willing to work across both locations. This position will be facilitating our Free2b Girls Program sessions, providing mentoring, guidance and support to the participants.
The Free2b Girls Program is an early intervention approach to the personal development and social inclusion of girls aged 10-15 in regional communities around Australia. The program helps build self-belief and identity in teenage girls through focusing on their creative capabilities, positive attributes and contributions to their local community. Free2b Girls groups provide participants with positive experiences of themselves, other women and their communities. It offers a space where they can develop their own agendas and activities within established boundaries of safety, tolerance and respect. Groups run weekly between 2pm and 5pm during school term. Longford sessions are on Tuesdays, and Campbell Town sessions are held on Wednesday.
The successful applicants will be energetic and passionate about empowering youth. You will have demonstrated ability to lead small groups, and a confident and positive approach to life.
You must hold a current Working With Vulnerable People clearance to perform this role, and you must be physically capable of walking from the school gate to the designated venues for the program as a supervisor for the participants.

This role will be advertised for a minimum period of 2 weeks. Review of applications will begin after 2 weeks and reviews will continue as applications are received until the position is filled.
