About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Junior Facility Coordinator (machinery) to join our team, responsible for the overall maintenance and management of machinery, equipment, and facilities across all ANZ sites. In this dynamic role, you will ensure the smooth operation of all facilities by conducting maintenance tasks, coordinating with contractors, ensuring safety compliance, and managing facility needs effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure maintenance of all SKtes machines and equipment across ANZ sites, adhering to agreed standards.
  • Coordinate with contractors, ensuring they follow safety protocols and complete tasks efficiently across all ANZ sites.
  • Perform maintenance and installation activities within your expertise; otherwise, supervise contractors and tradespersons.
  • Manage maintenance logs, schedule preventative maintenance, and ensure the timely completion of tasks at all levels (operator, maintenance, and external) across all ANZ sites.
  • Develop maintenance schedules to ensure optimal functioning of all machinery and equipment.
  • Oversee contractor management and emergency spill kits, liaising with Site Leaders to ensure facility upkeep.
  • Organise and manage repairs or improvements with minimal disruption to daily operations by liaising with landlords, agents, or contractors.
  • Ensure all equipment, machinery, and facility tasks are completed on schedule, with proper documentation and compliance to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Assist in commissioning and decommissioning of SKtes machinery and equipment.
  • Provide training to operators on machinery and ensure training records are up to date.
  • Ensure the team adheres to safety protocols for handling IT equipment and promotes sustainability initiatives related to e-waste management and recycling.

Some Performance Indicators:

  • Adherence to SOP and completion of recurring maintenance tasks as scheduled (e.g., fire equipment inspections).
  • Timely completion of maintenance and facility tasks.
  • Up-to-date maintenance logbooks and training records.
  • Successful commissioning and decommissioning of equipment.
  • Compliance with quality, environment, health, and safety standards.
  • Accurate documentation for audits and internal processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in facility management, maintenance, or a related field.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and contractors across various sites.
  • Strong knowledge of machinery and equipment maintenance.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage maintenance schedules.
  • Knowledge of environmental, health, and safety guidelines, with a focus on safe handling of IT equipment.
  • Forklift license (or willingness to obtain) and experience using machinery is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with teams and external partners.
  • Ability to lift items up to 15kg and work within a physically demanding role.
  • Proficiency in maintaining accurate records and supporting audit-related activities.
