Position Overview
Provide high-level administrative and executive support to the Chief Executive.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the efficient operation of the Chief Executive’s office by providing high-level administrative and executive support.
- Coordinate and provide secretarial support to the MAST Board, including compiling agenda papers, taking minutes, managing confidential information and scheduling meetings.
- Manage workflows and administrative functions, including records management, arranging travel and accommodation, organising events, responding to general inquiries and maintaining an effective communication system to ensure the smooth operation of the office and flow of information across the relevant areas of MAST.
- Maintain the MAST Governance Register.
Direction and Supervision
- Supervision is minimal and a high degree of initiative is required. The overall direction comes from the Chief Executive.
To be successful in this role
Essential Skills:
- Strong administrative and organisational skills – demonstrated knowledge of contemporary office management practices and ability to multi-task
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills – high-level written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to exercise initiative, judgement and discretion
- Advanced computer skills – competency in Word, PowerPoint, databases, spreadsheets and record management
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable:
- A sound knowledge of MAST.
