The Company:
This is a newly created position for an accomplished Project Director or Development Manager to join an established development advisory company based in their Melbourne office.

They strongly focus on their people's professional and personal growth, and protecting their high-performing and fun culture is vital to the directors. With a broad mix of skills and strengths in delivering built form projects for their client network, we are looking for someone with a strong buildability and understanding of construction sequencing to join the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Leadership: Direct and manage project development from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with company objectives and client expectations.
• Strategic Planning: Develop and implement project management strategies and processes to ensure efficient project execution.
• Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain effective communication with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to meet project goals.
• Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.

The Foundation for Success:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management within the construction industry, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Proven team leadership and mentoring skills
