Opportunity

We are a boutique accounting firm of young professionals located in the CBD Hindmarsh Square Precinct.

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and driven Client Services Officer who is looking for a challenging and rewarding full-time role.

The candidate must have a high level of professionalism mixed with a personable and approachable manner, for all clients and visitors who attend or contact our office, and for ongoing interactions with the team.

This role is perfect for candidates who want to work within a supportive, engaging office with a great work culture.

Responsibilities:

  • Attending to all corporate compliance obligations for the company client base using CAS 360
  • Assistance with ASIC annual reviews when required using CAS360
  • Attending to all company, trust and SMSF establishments
  • Booking in jobs and workflow management
  • Managing and maintaining the accuracy of our client database, including updating both ASIC and ATO of the same
  • Assistance with the client onboarding/offboarding process
  • Preparation of client engagements using Practice Ignition
  • Managing client software subscriptions using Practice Ignition
  • Preparation of client packs via FuseDocs
  • Following up client documentation via FuseSign
  • Event management as required
  • Client liaising and assisting with queries over the phone/email
  • Process client payments when required
  • Management of the firm trust account
  • Client invoicing and payment receipting in Xero
  • Debtor management
  • Client marketing using Mailchimp
  • Maintain electronic filing systems
  • Assistance with ATO lodgments
  • Office supply management
  • Correspondence with the ATO when required
  • Setup meeting rooms & training sessions when required
  • Ensure the office is always presentable
  • Shared maintenance of the kitchen facilities
  • General client service duties
  • Assistance with other administrative tasks as required by the team

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Experience in an administrative role, within a professional accounting firm environment
  • Professional and polished presentation
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy while handling multiple tasks
  • A customer first approach
  • Initiative & process improvement skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Tech savvy and able to use software programs listed and/or adapt to new systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and BGL
  • Knowledge of ASIC and ATO requirements and procedures
  • Candidates with XERO experience will be highly regarded
