Role Overview:
We are seeking a results-driven Sales Representative to join our client's growing team. This role is ideal for a proactive sales professional who thrives on identifying new business opportunities and building strong relationships with key stakeholders. Your primary objective will be to drive sales growth by expanding the customer base, generating new business leads, and managing existing accounts. This is not just about maintaining relationships; it's about actively seeking opportunities to grow the business and position the company as a preferred supplier in the market.
Key Responsibilities:
- New Business Development: Actively seek out new business opportunities in the commercial, industrial, and residential sectors, focusing on resellers, builders, contractors, and other key stakeholders in the building process.
- Account Management: Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients by providing ongoing support, understanding their requirements, and offering solutions tailored to their specific needs.
- Sales Strategy Implementation: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet or exceed sales targets. Identify key prospects and create a tailored approach to engage with potential customers.
- Product Knowledge & Demonstrations: Leverage your knowledge of building materials and construction products to educate clients on the benefits of the company’s offerings. Conduct product demonstrations and provide training to ensure customers understand the value of the solutions provided.
- Territory Management: Efficiently plan your territory calls to maximize coverage and ensure regular visits to key customers.
Skills and Knowledge Required:
- Proven Sales Experience: Demonstrated success in a sales role, preferably within the building materials, construction, or related industries.
- New Business Development Skills: Ability to identify potential customers, generate leads, and convert them into sales.
- Account Management Capabilities: Experience in managing customer accounts, understanding client needs, and providing solutions that foster long-term partnerships.
- Strong Business Acumen: Solid understanding of business principles, including sales strategies and market positioning.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks, prioritize workloads, and maintain attention to detail.
- Customer-Centric Approach: Commitment to delivering exceptional service and building strong, lasting relationships.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to engage with customers, present products, and negotiate sales deals.
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of building materials and construction products will be advantageous.

Salary and Benefits
- Base - $90,000 to $115,000 + Super + Commission Structure
