The Company
Established in 1914, our client is a nationally recognised RTO and the longest standing aero club and flying school in Australia. Providing focused, high-quality training, they offer customised training programs for all levels, from beginner to commercial pilot.
The Role
As the Compliance and Administration Manager, you will manage the day-to-day operations and compliance of the training organisation, including managing student administration. As the key contact both internally and externally for all RTO, VSL (VET Student Loans) and CRICOS matters, the postholder plays a crucial role within the organisation.
The position can be offered full-time or part-time, although ideally this would still cover 5 days per week (Mon to Fri), with flexible hours of work. Based in Mentone, VIC.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining comprehensive student records and ensuring compliance with RTO regulations
- Managing RTO, CRICOS, VSL registration and approvals
- Processing student enrolments, withdrawals and transfers and maintaining student attendance register
- Managing the SMS (Wisenet) and generating reports
- Liaising with regulatory bodies and auditors to demonstrate compliance
- Supporting the Operations and Reception department as required, including taking bookings, answering enquiries and completing customer transactions
The Successful Candidate
- Solid knowledge of RTO regulatory requirements including ESOS, VSL and VETiS
- Demonstrated experience in student administration and/or RTO compliance
- Proficiency in using student information systems and data management
- Knowledge of the aviation industry and regulations (preferred but not essential)
- Successful candidates will be required to obtain both a National Police Check and WWCC
