Join Our Team as an Administration Support Worker – Student Records
Our Administration Support Worker – Student Records will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining accurate and confidential student information within Saints Education.
Your focus:
This position involves a variety of administrative tasks aimed at ensuring the smooth operation of student record-keeping systems. This position ensures that all student records are handled in compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
- Ensure day-to-day administrative support for student records management is completed in a timely and accurate manner across all Saints Education campuses.
- Maintain administrative processes which support the efficient and compliant operation of Saints Education.
- Ensure accuracy of student data entered within TASS including, but not limited to, student information, student background data, correspondence rules, emergency contacts, attendance data, young people and staff class allocations, staff records and teacher kiosk access, medical details, timetabling, user defined information, VISA/VEVO information, etc.
- Assist with semester and end of year timetable and TASS maintenance updates as required in an accurate and timely manner.
- Provide support and training to TASS users.
- Identify gaps or shortfalls in information and/or processes for future improvements and enhancements.
- Assist campuses with enrolment and transition of young people in accordance with Department of Education requirements.
- Support campuses to ensure all student records meet relevant record keeping standards.
- Ensure storage of student files abides by all necessary privacy legislation and procedure.
- Identify procedures requiring review or re-development.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and student management systems.

- Ability and willingness to travel to school sites and attend professional development as required.

- Excellent interpersonal skills in the context of relating to team members, young people and parents/caregivers.

The Role
This role is a part-time 0.8 ongoing position (Tuesday to Friday: 8.00am-4.00pm) at our Fitzroy North office, working both in the office and from home, with travel to school sites.
You will be employed on an ongoing basis, commencing in March 2025, and will be employed under the Catholic Education Multi Enterprise Agreement 2022. The salary will be Level 3.1 of the Education Support Employee $81, 334 (pro rata), plus superannuation and leave loading.
You will need:
- Ability to commit to and work within our Operating Principles; Respect, Participation, Safe and Legal and Honesty.
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Business Analytics or related field
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role.
- The ability to inspire and engage with young people.
- Previous experience in the education sector is highly desirable.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Victorian Working with Children Check and provide a National Police Check certificate (issued within the last six months).
