About the Role

Join our Project Delivery – Construction team as a Field Team Lead, based out of our depot on Cussen Street, Tatura. As part of the Infrastructure Delivery Service Division, you’ll play a key role in delivering both capital and maintenance projects. In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for:

• Leading and managing construction sites, providing strong guidance to the crew
• Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest standard
• Overseeing safety, environmental, and quality controls
• Managing resources, including subcontractors and equipment
• Keeping accurate records of daily activities and progress
• Reporting any incidents using the GMW incident reporting tool

What You’ll Need:

Essential:

• Significant experience in civil construction, ideally within the water industry
• Construction Industry Induction (White Card)

Desirable:

• Certificate III in Civil Construction
• Certificate IV in Frontline Management
• Competency/licensed plant operator, with experience in the water industry or equivalent
• Qualified tradesperson in building and construction industries
• Current First Aid Level 2 certificate
• Spotter’s Ticket
• Dogger’s Ticket
• Traffic Management Ticket
