We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced multi-campus Health Centre Nurse.

The role of the Health Centre Nurse is to provide primary health care, in terms of physical and mental health, early detection and early intervention, health promotion, health education, chronic condition management, environmental health and safety, emergency/crisis management, first aid, sports health, health counselling, service delivery and resource management.

The successful candidate must have excellent organisational and communication skills. They will possess flexibility to handle multiple tasks and the ability to prioritize their work, with professional attention to detail.

  • This is a part-time leave replacement position
  • Commencing 22 April 2025 and concluding 2 April 2026
  • Working 8.00 am to 4.00pm every Tuesday and Thursday with a half hour unpaid lunch break each day
  • This position is a multi-campus role
  • This role works during term-time only
  • This position requires a current employee WWCC and police check

Key requirements

  • Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse (Division 1)
  • Current CPR and Senior First Aid competency
  • Current or scheduled Youth Mental Health First Aid
  • Current Working With Children Check
  • Understanding of Child Safe Standards
  • Demonstrated practice in accordance with the nursing professions’ codes of ethics and professional conduct
