Eunoia Lane currently provide Support Coordination, Specialist Support Coordination, Case Management and Occupational Therapy services to clients living with disability or mental health diagnoses.

The Position

The Accounts Executive is a key member of the Executive Team at Eunoia Lane, responsible for directing, controlling, and administering all financial activities of the organisation. This includes overseeing financial strategy, ensuring effective financial management, and maintaining long-term sustainability. The Accounts Executive will also play a crucial role in supporting Eunoia Lane’s broader strategic direction, working closely with the Director and executive team to drive growth, ensure sustainability, and align financial planning with the organisation's overall objectives.

The position will ensure that all internal and external accountabilities relating to the organisation’s finances are met, timely and of a high standard. Being part of the executive team will also provide broader opportunities within the organisation to contribute to initiatives aimed at strengthening Eunoia Lane’s capability to provide best practice, client-centred and culturally appropriate services to people living with a disability.

Summary of Key Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Together with the Director and the executive team, create structures for a cohesive and effective working executive relationship which sets a positive workplace culture and frameworks to meet operational and strategic outcomes for the organisation.
  2. Provide financial advice and analysis to the Director and Board on all strategic and operational aspects of financial management for the organisation.
  3. Lead a collaborative financial planning process for the organisation and ensure effective planning cycles within Finance and Business Operations are aligned with the strategic directions of the organisation.
  4. Implement robust financial and corporate management systems to increase organisational efficiency, accountability, transparency and decision-making.
  5. Comply with all financial and legal requirements, responsibilities, and obligations.
  6. Manage the relationship with external auditors and banks ensuring that Eunoia Lane meets all requirements for annual financial statements.
  7. Ensure an appropriate internal control framework supported by relevant financial and risk management policies including organisational compliance to the Eunoia Lane Delegations Policy.

Key Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications with senior leadership experience and a CPA/CA accreditation.
  • Senior level financial management expertise, including taxation, compliance, asset management, insurance, reporting and legal issues in a complex organisation with significant income, contract management and reporting requirements.
  • Ability to operate strategically with an ability to problem solve, support and understand challenges at the operational level.
  • Significant leadership and management experience in working with, advising and/or supporting Boards.
