Location: Acacia Ridge, QLD
Salary: $150k-$160k + Super + Bonus + Car
Our client, a leading automotive glass and fitting accessories supplier, is seeking an experienced State Sales Manager to lead their Queensland operations. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic leader with a proven track record in sales strategy, warehouse operations management, and client relationship building.
About the Role
The State Sales Manager will be responsible for driving business growth, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction across multiple sites. The ideal candidate will bring visionary leadership, mentoring capabilities, and hands-on experience in managing warehouse operations while fostering strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and management across Queensland operations.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth.
- Lead and mentor customer service and operational teams to deliver high performance.
- Collaborate with managers on workplace planning and operational coordination.
- Present monthly business performance reports to the CEO and COO.
- Monitor market trends and competitor pricing to identify business opportunities.
- Build industry networks to gain market insights and stay ahead of competitors.
- Recruit, train, and retain high-performing staff that add value to the business.
- Drive a positive safety culture and ensure adherence to workplace safety standards.
- Manage company assets and handle incident management efficiently.
- Work closely with the Sales and Service Manager on call cycle strategies.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience as a State Manager or in Senior Leadership roles.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in managing large teams across multiple sites.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Business and financial acumen.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in senior management.
- Ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
