About the role

Livingstone International Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced State Sales Manager to join our dynamic team in Perth, Western Australia. This full-time role will be responsible for driving new business growth and developing a team of sales professionals to achieve ambitious targets.

What you'll be doing

• New Business Development: Proactively identify and generate new business opportunities within the mining, agriculture and primary manufacturing sectors. Develop and implement strategic plans to grow market share and drive sales results
• Industry Networking: Utilise your industry contacts and network to engage with potential clients, understand their needs, and position our offerings as the best solution
• Sales Strategy Implementation: Collaborate with CSO to develop and execute sales plans, marketing campaigns, and business development strategies to achieve revenue targets.
• Market Analysis: Continuously monitor and analyse industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, product development, and customer service teams to ensure customer needs are met and exceeded.
• Reporting & Forecasting: Track and report on sales progress, providing regular updates to management regarding key performance indicators (KPIs) and sales forecasts.

What we're looking for

• Proven track record of success in a new business development or sales management role, preferably within the sales industry
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
• Strong commercial acumen and the ability to analyse data and identify growth opportunities
• Proven experience in leading, motivating and developing high-performing sales teams
• Degree qualification or equivalent relevant experience
• Familiarity with the new business development landscape in Western Australia
