Metro Trade Services Pty Ltd was founded in 2006 and provides general maintenance and electrical services within A-Grade & Premium commercial properties across Melbourne’s CBD and surrounding suburbs.

Our team is growing, and our client base is expanding. We are looking for professional, reliable and safety focussed tradespeople who can provide skilled general maintenance services at our CBD locations. We have permanent roles suitable for experienced tradespeople with prior experience in commercial office fit-out/maintenance, that communicates well with team members and clients, and can manage day to day urgent/minor works in a time critical manner.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• To comply to all relevant OH&S legislation and follow client/building specific procedures/policy and safety guidelines
• Provide services according to certified trade in addition to managing general repairs and maintenance of base building and tenancy areas
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks on a regular basis
• Management of stock/consumables
• To keep organised accounts of tasks performed throughout the day
• To carry out other reasonable duties within the overall function of the job
• Ability to work overtime/weekends if required.

Key Licenses/skills/status:

• Relevant Trade Qualification.
• Valid drivers license
• Construction White Card
• Current Police clearance check
• Australian Permanent resident
• EWP Licence
• Computer/Mobile device literate
• Punctuality
• Excellent communication and presentation
• Prior experience in the commercial office fit-out / construction environment
