We are seeking a highly skilled, analytical, and strategic Marketing Manager to lead and optimise our marketing efforts across two companies. This role will focus on overseeing outsourced marketing activities, ensuring strong ROI, and driving data-driven decision-making.
The ideal candidate will have experience in multi-channel marketing, particularly in TV, press, and digital media, with a strong background in performance analysis, budget optimisation, and agency management. This is a senior role that requires a commercially focused leader who can translate marketing spend into measurable business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Marketing Leadership
- Develop and execute high-level marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, leads, and sales.
- Oversee and manage a $3M marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation across all channels.
- Continuously refine marketing tactics based on market trends, performance data, and business goals.
Performance & ROI Optimisation
- Analyse and optimise media spend across TV, press, and digital marketing channels.
- Implement data-driven marketing strategies, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure high ROI.
- Work closely with external agencies to ensure campaigns are cost-effective and performance driven.
Agency & Vendor Management
- Select, manage, and hold external agencies accountable for performance (TV, press, social, PPC, SEO).
- Ensure marketing partners deliver on-time and within budget, meeting pre-set KPIs.
- Develop strong relationships with media partners, PR firms, and creative agencies.
Data & Analytics
- Monitor and report on marketing performance metrics using Google Analytics, Power BI, CRM systems, or similar.
- Provide data-backed recommendations for campaign improvements and budget adjustments.
- Implement customer segmentation, attribution modelling, and market research to refine targeting strategies.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Work closely with senior leadership to align marketing initiatives with business objectives.
- Collaborate with sales teams to ensure marketing efforts generate qualified leads and revenue growth.
- Present detailed marketing performance reports and insights to company executives.
Key Skills & Experience
Required:
- 7+ years’ experience in marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of TV, press, and digital media buying.
- Expertise in data-driven marketing, including ROI tracking, A/B testing, and performance analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in marketing analytics tools (Google Analytics, CRM reporting, Excel/Power BI).
- Proven track record of managing external agencies and optimising marketing budgets.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to tie marketing investments to business growth.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills for reporting to executives.
Preferred:
- Experience in high-value B2C marketing (home improvement, luxury goods, or niche products).
- Background in customer segmentation, brand positioning, and market research.
- A degree in Marketing, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.
